Meet the Evans Robot Raptors!
We are the Evans Robot Raptors. Our names are William, John, and David, and our coach is Mr. Bobbitt who works with robots at Savannah River National Lab. We are in Evans, Georgia, USA.
Every weekend we get together to play soccer, explore, and build cool stuff. We decided to take part in the MoonBots challenge because it is a great way for kids like us to share what's going on with the space program and get other kids excited science and engineering.
We also thought that everyone might like to know a little bit more about us. We met each other in cub scouts, and also play on the same soccer team.
David competed in the academic bowl at school. He has also designed a house and presented a science fair project designed to determine which paper airplane design was most efficient.
William likes to design games and mazes. He has programmed a chess game in javascript, and spent part of his summer at Camp Invention where he designed a machine to pick fruit from trees.
John is in a Lego Space Engineering class at Augusta State University, and has completed the Lego Pneumatics Engineering class there as well.
We look forward to sharing more with you soon!

Lunar Movie Making
We've been very hard at work this week finishing up our moonbots movie.
Hopefully everyone will enjoy watching it as much as we are enjoying making it!
